Lauren advises on both contentious and non-contentious construction law and acts for a wide range of clients including employers, contractors and consultants.
Lauren joined Stevens & Bolton in 2018 as a trainee solicitor and qualified into the construction and engineering team in 2020.
Lauren’s experience includes advising clients in formal dispute resolution, including adjudication and litigation in the Technology and Construction Court (TCC). She also has experience in the drafting and negotiation of a broad range of construction documentation including building contracts, professional appointments and collateral warranties.
Recent highlights include:
- Acting for a private client in defending an adjudication brought by a contractor
- Representing a main contractor in enforcement proceedings in the TCC
- Acting for a private client in an adjudication to recover delay damages
- Preparing building contract documentation for a developer client
